About Up & Coming Books

Our toddler was finally going back to daycare after spending a year at home during COVID. It was going to be a big adjustment, and I wanted to prepare him as best I could. So I wrote his “back-to-school story” with pictures of home and of his new school. We read the book for several weeks leading up to his first day. And soon our little one was able to tell us his story of going back to school!  The transition was as smooth as we could have hoped for.

I kept writing books – about arrival of a baby brother, moving to a new home, being in our cousin’s wedding, and many more. My books worked so well for my kids, that we set out to create a simple way for other parents to make personalized photo storybooks to prepare their kids for change, too.
